Alright guys. I’m being a total rebel by breaking protocol and posting from work (Big Brother is all over this place), but I have no way of reaching you otherwise. We are in the middle of switching ISPs, because Bullshit Bulldog have been up to nonsense lately and our wireless has been primitive at best. [...]

RIP George Carlin
June 24th, 2008 ·
Legendary cynic and anti-establishment comic George Carlin died of heart failure on Sunday at the age of 71. Very sad. George was a funny guy. But this is less of an obituary and more of a celebration of his seminal routine: “7 words you can’t say on tv”. Enjoy.
Cheers, George.

Warning label

Poached this from Golden Fiddle. Nothing like a little honesty in advertising, even if it is almost certainly unintentional. Then again, “tedious” might be the least insulting write-up that Fools Gold actually received. I haven’t seen it, but come on: I don’t need to eat a shit sandwich to know that I’m not going to [...]

It’s official: Will Smith is a tool.
June 20th, 2008 ·
Spotted in Leicester Square yesterday by Zorba ahead of the premiere for Will Smith’s new autobiographical movie “Cock”, which is basically a 2-hour montage of random people in shopping malls and stuff explaining why they think that the Fresh Prince is such a self-absorbed, talentless asshole.
Nah. “Hancock” is actually about an alcoholic, homeless superhero [...]

Jamie Lynn Spears pops a sprog
June 20th, 2008 ·
Yip. There’s a new Spears in the family. Little sister Jamie Lynn, who got knocked up by her bf Casey Aldridge while she was technically still jailbait, gave birth yesterday morning to a beautiful, bouncing baby girl, whom the couple have named Maddie Briann.
I actually have no evidence to prove that little Maddie [...]

The Rape of the Lock
June 19th, 2008 ·
Well, it could have been a prop, hooker or second-string orange peeler, but any way you spin it, the English rugby team is in hot water after reports of alleged “serious misconduct” by four players started doing the rounds yesterday morning. By last night, the mud had started to settle and we had a little [...]

The KP switch slap
June 18th, 2008 ·
For those of you who might have missed Kevin Pietersen’s cheeky batting display during his 110 knock against New Zealand on Sunday, check out the clip above. He actually switches from a right-handed to a goofy stance while Scott Styris’ delivery is still in flight. Of course, Styris is better known as professional pork pie [...]

Tropic Thunder
June 18th, 2008 ·
Check out this “viral” video for the awesome-looking upcoming action-comedy Tropic Thunder, featuring Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr and Jack Black. It’s quite amusing, even in spite of Jack Black.
Here’s (one) of the trailers that’s already been released ahead of its scheduled US opening in August (September in the UK) this year:
I really hope [...]

Crowd etiquette by QOTSA
June 18th, 2008 ·
If you ever find yourself at a Queens Of The Stone Age gig, it’s probably best that you refrain from getting overly worked up and tossing anything at the stage. Josh Homme doesn’t take too kindly to unruly behaviour.
On the other hand, if you’re up for a crash course in creative cussing, a well-placed [...]
